At Nostra Homes we have made a number of positive changes to our already high level of standard inclusions. These changes have taken our offer to a whole new level and have really ensured that our standard inclusions are anything but standard.
Nothing compares to the elegance and beauty of stone benchtops in your kitchen, and with 20mm stone bench tops with waterfall end panels – your new standard kitchen is anything but standard.
At Nostra Homes we have always offered 20mm stone to our kitchens, but recently we have decided to take luxury to the next level by introducing 20mm waterfall end panels. This high end level of inclusions is included as part of your quoted price and as part of our base price.
Offering more than just good looks, stone is also a durable, practical solution for the kitchen, ideal for preparing meals, washing up or even just sitting with a glass of wine. A stone benchtop is easier to maintain and is also less likely to scratch than laminate. The following are just some of the main advantages of a stone bench top in your home.
A top benefit of stone is the material quality. Delivering a stylish look and material longevity, stone benchtops are a popular choice in modern builds. This not only means a good workbench for your kitchen, but also a good investment for your home, increasing its overall value.
A strong mineral, stone is tough and long lasting. The surface can often be cleaned with a cloth, and is resistant to stains and scratches. It can take constant use and won’t degrade over time, allowing you’re family to just keep living. What are the benefits to adding waterfall end panels to your bench? Well, cabinet corners are generally the first place where you will see the wear and tear your kitchen has had to endure, whether it be from your vacuum or constant contact. Unfortunately there is not a lot of materials readily available to withstand this use, so having your benchtop return down to the ground, referred to as a waterfall end, will help protect those corners, especially in high traffic areas.
Stone is well known for its beauty. Smooth to the touch, it offers a mixture of colours, from bold chunky grains to blended natural tones. Waterfall end panels finish of the island bench in style. Like bookends, they ground the island, and give off a subtle design flair. Waterfall Ends are truly a beautiful feature for so many kitchen designs. If your more into a one sided feature, then another great design element of a waterfall end is the ability to introduce a feature panel to the back of an island or return benchtop as displayed in Canterbury 29 and Hilton 27 display homes. If a thicker stone is a consideration for your build, Nostra Homes can assist with pricing these more deluxe options.
There are a number of colours and styles that are on offer as part of our category 1 stone which will give you the ability to achieve your desired look within your new home. As part of our Nostra Select showroom appointment you will be guided by our interior designer on how best to achieve your desired kitchen style from the wide range of options that are available.
We use high quality suppliers of stone like Quantum Quartz in standard stone options so you can be confident in the products being used in your new Nostra Home. Quantum Quartz engineered stone contains more than 93% natural quartz, the remaining content consists of a bonding agent, pigment and additives that creates the over 40 different varieties of stone on offer.
